Drag Queen Bingo 2019
April 27 @ 5:30 pm - 10:00 pmFree – $200.00
Drag Queen Bingo Tickets Are On Sale Now!
This year’s theme is “Heroes and Villains,” and the Stilettos are ready to put on their capes, masks, and spandex…oh my!
Jump into the nearest phone booth (if you can find one) and dress as your favorite superhero, Disney character, or movie villain. Heroes and villains can be just about anyone, so show us your SUPER creativity and come join us for another night of bingo, music, and madness!
Reminder, this show is Rated “R” – REALLY not for kids!
As you may have heard, we recently lost one of our local heroes. Our dear friend, drag mother, and Wyoming AIDS Walk founding member Bob Hooker lost his fight with cancer in November. We would not have Laramie DQB or The Stilettos without his humor, encouragement, and support over the last 19 years. To remember him, this year we will be bringing back an award we used to give out at AIDS Walk and renaming it in his honor. Please join us as we issue the first ever “Bob Hooker Red Ribbon Angel Award” to a person or group who has gone above and beyond to help people in Wyoming living with HIV/AIDS.
We’re making arrangements to offer FREE Rapid HIV testing before the event again this year. Come early to know your status!
Drag kings Oscar Jackson and Darian Xavier are back again to host the Homegrown Talent Pre-Show at 6pm!
We’re looking forward to seeing what DJ Sensei wears while providing music to move your feet and Marti, Livi, and Sophie can’t wait to put on another great show!
Need a room? We’re also setting up a discounted room rate again, so stay tuned to the same drag time, same drag channel for more information! Remember kids, real royalty doesn’t drink and drive!
- Doors open at 5:30, so don’t be late! Bring some extra cash to tip your favorite diva (or buy a drink if you’re over 21)!
- Homegrown Talent Pre-Show at 6pm!
- And Bingo begins at 7pm!
Ticket sales have received an upgrade this year. DQB is excited to announce the addition of DQB+ and VIP Tables! Don’t worry, we still have plenty of general admission seats for sale at the regular price of $10. But for those of you want some memorabilia or a lovely bottle of wine, we’ve got you covered.
Take a look at the floor plan below and when you’re buying your tickets choose the table you’d like to sit at and then select the number of tickets you’d like to buy. Tables will be assigned but seats aren’t, so be nice to your neighbor if they’ve purchased tickets at adjoining tables.
Please note: VIP tables are sold as a single ticket, each table seating 10 guests.
VIP Ticket tables, identified by their teal coloring, are as close to the action you can get! The VIP tables boarder the main stage and include a slew of lovely upgrades:
- Each table comes with a bottle of wine to get the party started!
- And table service for even more wine!
- A commemorative leg glass
- Water service
- And an autographed photo of the queens for each person at the table
Each VIP table is sold as one ticket. The tables will seat 10 so grab nine of your closest friends and buckle in for a night of laughter, music, and drinks — did we mention the wine 😉
DQB+ Tickets, highlighted in yellow above, are a great way to give a little extra to Wyoming AIDS Assistance and get a lovely, autographed, picture from the Queens!
Seats are sold individually for $15. If you want to buy a full table, just buy all 10 seats! Remember that the seats themselves aren’t assigned so be considerate of your neighbors when choosing a chair. Grab your DQB+ tickets while they last!
General Admission Tickets
The Queens are back and we’re excited to sell 100 general admission tickets! Each ticket will be $10 as in years past. Like the DQB+ tickets, seats at the general admission tables seen above in light grey are sold individually. The seats themselves aren’t assigned and you’re welcome to grab whichever chair at your table you fancy!
So what are you waiting for? Go grab your tickets and get ready for a night of wonderful entertainment benefitting a fantastic Wyoming cause.
Special thanks to our sponsors (Wyoming AIDS Assistance, Wyoming Department of Health, and www.knowwyo.org) and volunteers! Want to become a hero yourself and donate or volunteer? Email [email protected] or visit us at www.wyoaids.org. As always, proceeds raised will benefit people living in Wyoming with HIV/AIDS. Donations can be made payable to Wyoming AIDS Assistance. Cash, check, or credit card accepted!
